Catch Me At ZafigoX 2018, The 1st Event In Asia On Women & Travel

What’s more intimidating than giving a speech?

Sharing a stage with some seriously amazing women travelers, the kind who’ve scaled the highest mountains, biked solo across the globe or still travelling at age 75! Wish me luck guys, because I’ll be speaking at ZafigoX 2018!

I can’t tell you how humbled, honoured and surprised to receive Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir’s invitation to speak at ZafigoX.

What’s ZafigoX?

I’ll be giving a talk and sitting on two panels at ZafigoX 2018

Organised by female travel portal Zafigo , ZafigoX is the brainchild of Datin Paduka Marina who wanted to empower women through travel. ZafigoX is the first event in Asia celebrating women and travel. This year’s edition will feature 22 kick-ass women to inspire your next adventure, panel discussions on issues women face while on the road, and workshops to help you travel better.

What I really appreciate about ZafigoX is that they’ve curated a spectrum of women who travel differently to give you different perspectives of travelling as a woman.

ZafigoX 2018 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in Nov

My talk is titled “Milennial Travelling: Not Doing It For The ‘Gram”, where I’ll share stories from 10 years of backpacking solo and share why travelling can be so powerful.

I’ll also be sitting on two panels – “The Art of Travel Writing”, and “Overcoming Fear and Trauma To Travel”.

I’m nervous as hell! But I’m super excited to meet fellow women travellers. I’m also reaaaally looking forward to learning and sharing some travel tips, tricks and advice!
